Dunuwilla
is the place from where Rama fired the Brahmaastharam at Ravana, which
eventually killed him. Dhunu means arrow and Vila Means Lake. This place got
its name because Rama fired his arrow from this lake. Dunuvila is located in
the Matale district on the out skirts of
Wasgamuwa National Park.
